Montessori Home School Hub is open to primary aged children (5 - 12) who are home educated or flexi schooling. We also welcome international children for shorter periods. No prior Montessori experience is required - just a curiosity for learning!

Sessions and structure
Days and Times
Sessions run during term time on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Children may join us for one, two or three days per week.
Montessori Learning
Children engage in a mix of structured and self directed activities using authentic Montessori learning materials.
Small Groups
We maintain a low child to adult ratio ensuring personalised attention and guidance.
Subjects Covered
Children explore core subjects, maths, language and science, all presented in a hands on, interactive way.

Encouraging independence and co-operation
Following Montessori principles, we support children in developing independence by encouraging them to take responsibility for themselves and their surroundings. Age appropriate tasks include tidying up after activities, organising their belongings, and assisting with group responsibilities. Through teamwork and open communication, we create a collaborative atmosphere where both children and adults feel engaged and valued.
If conflicts arise, we guide children in resolving them with respect and understanding. We may have a group discussion to help children express their emotions constructively in a supportive, non judgemental space. With gentle guidance from the teacher, children learn to listen, reflect and work towards peaceful resolutions.

The role of the parent
In accordance with the Department For Education's Elective Home Education Guidance, parents are legally responsible for ensuring their child receives a suitable full time education as outlined in section 7 of the Education Act 1996. Our sessions are designed to complement your home education efforts and constitute only a portion of your child's overall learning experience, with attendance limited to a maximum of 18 hours per week.
5
Fees and Registration
We want to ensure that our sessions are the right fit for your child. To begin the process, please contact us with a brief introduction to your family, outlining what you are looking for and how you feel we can support your child's learning journey. It would be helpful for us to know about your child's interests, favourite subjects, and any specific learning needs.
Once we have received your message we will arrange a phone call to discuss your child's needs in more detail. Following this we will invite your child to attend a free trial session to experience our approach first hand.
Enrolment Commitment
Once parents have enrolled their child at the start of each half term, we require a commitment for the full half term.
Payment
Fees are due in advance at the beginning of each half term.
Attendance
Children may join us for one, two or three days per week.
